New Zealand Media and Entertainment has today announced it is launching a new sales division, which includes a team dedicated to servicing independent agencies and nationwide direct clients.
NZME has also announced the promotion of Greg McCrea - current Head of Agency Sales, to the newly created role of Commercial Director - Agency and Strategic Accounts. In his new role he will be responsible for all agency revenue and national strategic accounts, as well as overseeing trading and investment across those portfolios.
The new sales division brings two of NZME’s sales teams together to drive increased business outcomes for independent and national direct clients, whilst ensuring NZME’s exceptional service and media solutions for large agency and local direct clients continues.
Michael Boggs, NZME Chief Executive, says the consolidation of the two teams will drive increased business outcomes for clients, tailored to their specific needs.
“NZME has led the way in how we partner with the agency market, and we’re excited to extend that model to encompass the wider independent agency community and some of our national strategic accounts. This centralised offering will be best in market, harnessing the power of NZME’s multiple brands, platforms and personalities to support customer growth.”
James Butcher, NZME Chief Commercial Officer says: “We are really excited to launch this unique new sales division and we believe it gives us a competitive advantage within the industry, with us gaining a deeper understanding of our agency partners and our direct clients’ objectives, challenges and insights across their categories.”
McCrea says: “The service and solutions that our teams provide to our major and independent agency customers is market leading and I’m thrilled to be extending this across the wider independent agency market. Additionally, we see the magic really happen when we align closely with our clients and agency partners, and launching the market’s first strategic account sales function promises to deliver even more of these great outcomes.”
NZME’s new sales division will be live from 1 October 2024.
